- About the RoleReporting to the Manager - Training, Cooper SA, we are excited to present the vacancy; Principal Training Projects to form part of the growing Copper SA Team, enabling effective governance, planning, development and deployment of training across Copper SA.

This role will be focused on the identification and strategic alignment of Training initiatives across Copper SA. You will drive the development of key partnerships with stakeholders across Copper SA’s four mining sites to leverage opportunities for integration and continuous improvement.

Central to supporting the implementation of the Strategic Skills Plan and Diversity targets for Copper SA, this role will play a key role in supporting the Manager - Training, Copper SA and the training team to create and deliver training programs and pathways which meet the needs of Copper SA into the future.

You will work closely with a range of stakeholders including the Training Leadership Team, Entry level Pathways leaders, Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners across all Copper SA Sites and maintaining close connections with our external training providers (educational institutions).

**_This position is based in the Adelaide office with travel to our SA sites as required. _**
- To ensure success in this role as Principal you will:
- Maintain a wide network, integrate functions, operations and regions and solve complex challenges to drive strong functional/asset integration across Copper SA.
- Network across the business to build a strong understanding of what other Assets and Functions do to drive collaboration and improvements across all Copper SA sites.
- Seek contributions from other functions, operations and regions to complement work of own team and optimise performance.
- Develop and socialise business cases for integrated training opportunities across Copper SA.
- Evaluate and validate decisions to ensure they are value adding and in line with Asset Training and EIS strategy.
- Provide alignment of the Strategic Skills plan with proposed initiatives.
- Plan, manage and embed large organisational change, mitigate risks and drive targeted value in alignment with strategic direction.
- About You- Navigating and holding a strong understanding of the BHP organisational structure
- Showcasing understanding/experience with operational training processes and compliance requirements
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand their requirements, design and deliver win-win outcomes
- Planning, managing and embedding organisational change
- Demonstrated strong project management experience
- A commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail with proven experience in progress reporting
