About the Role

ConnectSydney, a dynamic joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, will be delivering the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract for the Harbour Zone in metropolitan Sydney. We are looking for talented, motivated and driven individuals to join the team who will be committed to delivering innovative, customer-focused and sustainable outcomes whilst also establishing a positive legacy for our customers and community.

The Supervisor contributes to the project through the management of sub-contractor and internal teams, providing leadership by safely managing performance of people, work programs, and/or processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition, planning, execution and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver works for the project safely. To ensure adherence to best practices project management principles whilst managing the project delivery services to the Client.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Coordinate all activities across the contract, including scheduling and programming of works
- Responsible for ensuring that everyone that undertakes work on the contract has the correct training and has valid licences.
- Supporting the contract management system to ensure all maintenance or project activities are completed
- Ensure all KPI’s and contract performance requirements are met
- Conduct tool box meetings, communicate policies, procedures and practices to work teams
- Assist in the management of maintenance and construction projects in accordance with standards and Risk Management Process.
- Ensure all technical, program, quality, environmental, community, industrial, safety and commercial obligations are achieved and maintained on site.
- Ensure all recoverable and chargeable costs on damaged assets are entered in the management system
- Undertake reviews of reports submitted and raise any items in the management system
- Ensure on call roster is created and updated
- Promote open and transparent communication as appropriate
- Develop and maintain shift roster
- Ensure specific resources are available to deliver shift roster
- Provide technical support to maintenance crews.
- Co-ordinate incident response between maintenance crews

About You
- Demonstrated strong experience in civil construction, project management, road maintenance, network contracts and business development.
- Demonstrated experience in pavement construction delivery along existing roads in an urban environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit, MS Project.
- Possesses good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team.
- Results driven, ability to meet strict deadlines
- Sound cost management and tracking skills
- Current driver’s license
