We're seeking a Permits Officer to join our dynamic team at Clarendon Homes, Loganholme.

**THE ROLE**

**Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to**:

- Administration of building approval coordination
- Request and manage site specific reporting
- Constant communication with external stakeholders, certifiers, and councils for ongoing file updates
- Liaise with internal departments to formulate compliance to align with company variation policy, certifiers, councils and developer guidelines
- Liaise with internal departments & town planners to assess design issues in seeking council approval
- Work proactively with internal departments through design issues or problem solving

**To be successful for this role you'll need**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, while managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, and a strong understanding of council guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve compliance and design issues.
- A proactive and customer-focused approach to service delivery, with a commitment to achieving results.
