**The Role**

This exciting Area Manager role has oversight of Disability Employment Services (DES) delivery across the Regional South Australia Management Area, and reports to the State Manager VIC/SA. While DES experience is not required, you’ll need a strong track record in successfully managing a diverse team to maximise performance.

Base location is flexible. Provide face to face support, advice, and guidance to your team through regular travel to offices across _Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, with outreach in Ardrossan, Balaklava and Jamestown. Base location flexible - choose how and when you work so long as you support your team well._

**You will have the ability to**:

- Lead and motivate teams to achieve and exceed performance KPIs across a wide geographical area
- Utilise / comprehend reporting tools and dashboards to manage performance
- Support managers and staff in developing the skills and strategies to effectively engage DES clients with employers
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain and / or improve performance
- Implement strategies to build DES caseload

**Duties**:

- Manage all aspects of Disability Employment Services relevant to the DES Deed (Department of Social Services).
- Manage quality and service delivery relative to the National Standards of Disability
- Establish and communicate clear direction for the effective delivery of operations across your employment service areas
- Advocate for disability employment services with a range of stakeholders including employers, support organisations and government agencies
- Meet DES yearly budgetary requirements in ESS (Employment Support Services) and DMS (Disability Management Services) contracts
