An opportunity has become available for motivated **Processing Assistants **to join our Fish Processing Department in Canning Vale, **Monday - Friday, 38 hours/week, Day shift, Overtime and Penalty rates applicable for extra hours, if any**,

The Key Responsibilities include:

- Fish trimming, packaging and distribution
- Assist in Vacuum sealing, picking, packing, strapping and storing packed orders into cool storage prior to delivery.
- Ensure product quality and traceability is maintained throughout the process (label cartons, Use By / Best Before dates).
- Assist with stock control duties
- Safe food handling practices

Position available for an immediate start and to qualify, all applicants MUST:

- Be able to work early starts to meet business demand.
- Be reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Have flexible hands-on work attitude and a high level of physical fitness.

Essential Requirements:

- Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Capable of physically demanding duties.

**Previous experience receiving meat, poultry, or seafood will be looked upon favorably**.

Successful applicants will need to provide a minimum of 2 current references, a current Police Clearance Certificate, and attend a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing.
