**We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our dynamic Warehouse team in Narre Warren North.**

**Hours of Work**:
Standard operating hours are between 6am and 6pm. We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator who can work between this spread of hours Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

**Primary Duties**:

- General forklift activity in warehouse and cool rooms
- Delivery and retrieval of full and empty fruit bins between Orchard, CA and Production
- Storage of stock into single depth 7-metre-high racking using reach truck
- Movement and staging of waste bins ready for collection
- Movement and inventory control of empty pallets and bins
- Loading/unloading of trucks
- Observing safety and traffic management policies

**Other Duties**:

- If general forklift duties have been completed, the Operator may be required to assist with other duties.
- Working between outdoor environment, indoor cool rooms (operates between 1-5 degrees) and warehouse (ambient temperature).

**Experience Requirements**:

- Forklift licence
- Must have minimum 2 years experience operating Forklifts in a busy Warehouse environment
- Experience driving Linde electric forklifts, both counterbalance and reach truck preferable.
- Must be reliable and safety focused
- Heavy Rigid Licence desirable but not essential

**PPE Requirements**:

- PPE will be provided - however all successful applicants must provide and wear their own safety shoes/boots.
- During interview a forklift skill test will be conducted, please dress in the correct PPE. Safety boots, Hi Visibility shirt.

**Transport**:

- Employees need reliable transport to and from work due to the location of our site and limited public transport

**Salary**: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

- Driver Licence (required)
- HR Licence (preferred)
