**Step Into Leadership: Educator Position with 2IC Potential**

Are you passionate about working with children and ready to take the next step in your career?
We are seeking a motivated and committed Educator to join our Senior Team, with the potential to grow into a **Second-in-Charge (2IC)** leadership position.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong initiative, a team-focused mindset, and a passion for both child development and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely alongside the **Director** to support the effective daily management of the service
- Collaborate with the **Senior Team** to oversee operations and mentor other educators
- Take initiative in supporting and leading day-to-day tasks and service improvements
- Build strong, positive, and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Educate, supervise, and inspire children in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
- Contribute actively to programming, evaluation, and ongoing quality improvement processes
- Assist with administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth and efficient service operations
- Support professional development and staff training initiatives
- Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
- Assist with Quality Assurance and compliance processes to maintain high standards of care

Skills and Qualifications:

- Current **Working with Children Check**:

- **First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis**, and **Child Protection** certifications
- A valid **Driver's Licence**:

- Strong experience working in childcare, ideally with **Primary School-aged children** (OSHC experience highly regarded)
- Excellent administrative, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and mentor others
- High level of initiative, enthusiasm, and proactive leadership potential
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement
- Flexible availability, with strong potential for transition to a **permanent 2IC position**

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
