This role is a key contributor for delivering high quality, timely and insightful analysis and reporting to meet Iress' monthly reporting and full/half year financial statements and audit requirements.

**Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with**:

- Support the delivery of monthly financial insight and data to enhance decision making and achieve financial goals, including journals, ledger/sub-ledger analysis and reconciliations, delivery of financial reports to business partners, leadership teams, board and external regulators.
- Support the completion of the annual / half year financial statements and audit for group and APAC subsidiary entities, and assist with technical and practical accounting matters. This includes assistance where required with completion of disclosures for the listed-entity Interim Report and Annual Report.
- Balance sheet accounting, including maintenance of fixed asset registers, accounting for intangibles and capitalised development costs, management of receivables and payables.
- Assist with the group treasury function, including cash flow management, intercompany receivables and payables, transaction funding arrangements and debt management.
- Contribute to finance systems knowledge and support, including involvement in system process change and improvement.
- Financial analysis and support in relation to business initiatives, restructures and mergers and acquisitions as required.
- Delivery of ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

**What you will bring**:

- Qualified accountant with post qualification experience.
- Well-developed financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft products, particularly Excel, with experience in Netsuite and Adaptive Insights an advantage.
- A track record of working for a global business with demonstrated ability to adhere to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated success supporting businesses and providing insight to support decision making and achieve financial goals
- Ability to understand the business and think strategically and commercially
- Ability to demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks
