**CSV Team**

Transport Officers at our Geelong branch, support our partnership with the Coroners Court Of Victoria providing transport services of deceased persons in the Geelong/Barwon region and surrounds, as well as occasional repatriation services to regional Victoria.

**About the role**

Performing duties as a dual crew member (collections from place of death) or as a single operator (during a repatriation), members will be rostered on call for up to 24 hours during which time may be activated to attend the workplace. If not activated, Geelong/Barwon members will be paid a 12 hour shift ‘on call allowance’.

**About you**

This opportunity is suited to those with a great level of resilience, who demonstrate the compassion, dignity and respect of the deceased persons, and who understands the need to engage with professionalism and understanding with families’ members involved, the emergency services and law enforcement workers.

This will suit someone who is looking to work part-time, flexible working hours or in addition to alternate income streams, as regular hours per week cannot be guaranteed.
- You will _
- have experience working with deceased persons and associated stakeholders
- have demonstrated professional and respectful approach when handling and transporting deceased persons
- hold high levels of resilience, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and nonverbal)
- be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with highly confidential information
- be privy and experienced with OHS and manual handling procedures
- You will be willing to _
- provide a Full Victorian Driver License with evidence of safe driving record
- undertake as a Psychometric Evaluation and a Medical Assessment
- give evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
- undertake a Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
