**The opportunity**

This newly created role is pivotal in proactively communicating and engaging across government stakeholders to support the delivery of strong, connected community and Country outcomes. The role will see you build and maintain relationships across government and GWW to successful delivery of our strategic goals, initiatives and partnerships and manage risks and opportunities.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate across GWW to manage information flow and reputational risks and build capability
- Lead and implement systems and processes to manage stakeholder correspondence and relationships
- Work with communications and engagement colleagues to manage approaches and responses to media, events and other public affairs
- Liaise with government and other relevant stakeholders to inform and seek advice on public interest issues.

**Skills & Experience**
- Exceptional communication skills, high level conceptual and analytical capability coupled with business and political acumen
- Ability to show initiative and innovation, providing robust and sound advice about complex, emerging and topical issues
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role managing stakeholder engagement and reputational issues
- Confidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels, F2F and in a hybrid environment
- Ability to influence in getting the right information at the right time often in a time constrained environment.
