About the Role
The Nurse Educator - PIP Coordinator role supports the provision of specialised perioperative nurse education at the operational and strategic levels within MSH. This role promotes and coordinates the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of PIP education and workshops for MSH and within identified rural and regional hospital and health services. The role assists with the ongoing learning and development of nurses entering the specialities of Perioperative and Perianaesthesia nursing practice. Additionally, the role promotes evidence-based practice by analysing evaluation data and participating in research associated with the program. The role provides ongoing commitment to embedding Magnet, the Professional Practice Model (PPM) values and the Pathway to Excellence principles into patient care.
