**About the role**

We are seeking a compassionate animal lover to join our team as Cremator and Keepsake Preparation Coordinator on a casual basis. You will work 2-3 days per week and will be required to work flexibly between two teams.

Your role in the Cremation Team:

- operating cremation and ashes processing equipment
- maintenance and basic repairs of site equipment
- assisting drivers to load and unload pets from their vehicles
- yard and maintenance duties as required.

Your role in the Keepsake Preparation team:

- Place pet ashes into our keepsake offerings such as urns, jewellery, or wooden boxes
- Engrave
- Stock management and replenishment.

We take pride in conducting a very ethical, clean, neat and hygienic operation. There is some heavy lifting involved using lifting equipment and full training will be provided in this area.

**To be successful in this role y**ou will**
- Have a compassionate and caring nature and be an animal lover
- Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a tight team
- Be strong and physically fit to be able to lift heavy pets
- Be comfortable handling deceased pets
- Be experienced in safe lifting procedures
- Be comfortable with working around extreme temperatures
- Be experienced in completing paperwork accurately and have excellent attention to detail
- Be reliable, trustworthy and take pride in your work
- Be an organised and neat worker who is committed to keeping the premises clean and tidy
- Be fully COVID vaccinated
