Are you an audio executive producer or documentarian dedicated crime and injustice in Australia? Our award-winning LiSTNR Crime team are on the hunt for an experienced **Executive Producer **to join their team on a **part-time** basis (3 days per week), based in **Sydney**.

**What you’ll be doing**:
The LiSTNR Factual Podcast team focuses on making original and engaging content with an Australian lens and global appeal. The podcast slate tells untold stories about crime and injustice in Australia.

As a Factual Executive Producer for LiSTNR Crime you will develop and supervise the creative direction and production of original podcasts. Leading a team to create bespoke audio on demand content, documentary and essay-style series and, from time to time, Branded feature series podcasts.

They will also have a good understanding of copyright, broadcast and defamation law.

**Please note: This role will be required to cover sensitive and potentially emotionally challenging news events from a people, product, and rostering perspective.**

**Experience we’re looking for**:

- At least 5 years podcast producing experience within audio documentaries / narrative non-fiction with a specialty in scripting.
- Advanced story and character development skills, narrative structure, and editing skills with a strong understanding of sonic values
- Skilled at coordinating schedules and deadlines, field reporting, producing key interviews, crafting narrative structure, writing scripts, and working with and organizing tape.
- Ability for delivering clear, conscientious and constructive feedback on both stories and performance.
- Good understanding of copyright and defamation law
- A strong vision for what makes exceptional and ambitious stories.
- Experienced team player with strong leadership skills
- Experience managing, coaching and mentoring junior producers.
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of dealing with conflict.
- Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, often hectic environment.
- Strong proficiency in digital production tools, including ProTools
