**What you will enjoy doing**
- Providing Safety and Compliance mentoring to drivers and workshops as required, you will also promote best work practices and behaviors to drivers: “If it’s not safe, don’t go”
- You will support the day-to-day operations of Training and Operational improvement and liaise with Site Management to ensure regulatory compliance requirements are adhered to
- In addition, you will conduct monthly compliance audits, facilitate new starter inductions for all staff including facilitating training and competency-based driving assessments for drivers (company and sub-contracted)
- Also, you will ensure the required initial and on-going training is completed within timeframes and all training attendance and assessment results are recorded
- Completing field audits and facilitating other training as required by the business and assisting with training development is part of this role
- Furthermore, you assist operations and workshop staff in the scheduling and delivery of toolboxes inclusive of facilitating group interaction to raise employee hazard awareness and involvement by discussing topics and HSSE incident investigation outcomes or learning’s etc.
- This position requires that you provide operational support for leave coverage and peak seasons

**What makes you great**
- You possess a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (current version or willing to upgrade within 6 months of appointment to the position)
- A Current Multi Combination (MC) license is essential
- Your current Dangerous Goods license is preferred, however training will be considered
- Transport industry experience is desirable
- Also vocational qualifications in Driving (Driving Operations) / Transport and Logistics / Safety including Defensive Driver Training are highly regarded
- Some domestic travel is required
