Not only will you have the natural curiosity required to identify and drive improvement and preventative maintenance strategies, you’ll provide critical guidance, vision and direction to a small, high performing team of multi site maintenance technicians that take pride in what they do and how they do it
Based at our historic Wembley Facility, reporting to the Facilities and Services Manager you will lead your team to success, overseeing the effective management of property maintenance across Mercycare aged care and early learning facilities, including identification, planning, and scheduling and the efficient and timely deployment of resources and contractors.
The role will foster a team culture of collaboration, inclusion and solution focused thinking and support the wider property team, overseeing the allocation of work requests and reporting and analysis of relevant data for continuous improvement.

You will have an aptitude for data to inform decision making, develop reporting and support continuous improvement. You will have demonstrated experience in a similar maintenance leadership role together with the following:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration is desirable
- Bachelor’s in Commerce, Logistics or Property Management or similar is highly desirable
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent Planning and Time Management
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Resilience to manage multiple deadlines
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
- Work with Children Check (WWCC)
- Drivers License
