Little Genius Academy Childcare (Concord/Breakfast Point) is looking for a full-time experienced Child Care Educator with a Diploma/Cert 3 qualification in Children's Services who values partnering with families, is keen to further develop their skills and wants to join a passionate, capable and dedicated team on a permanent basis. This individual will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to be entrusted with the care and education of the children and to support the valued families who attend our great childcare facility. Part-time/Casual position is available as well and over 16 hours a week will be provided. You will be a flexible self-stater and you should be able to demonstrate that you are hands-on, have a sound knowledge of child development and willing to engage with the children and think on your feet and take direction from the Centre Director and nominated supervisor as required. It is essential you have: - a Diploma or Cert 3 in Children's Services qualification or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification - Demonstrated Understanding of the following: National Quality Framework (NQF)Early Years learning Framework (EYLF)Child Protection & Mandatory ReportingWorkplace Health & Safety issuesProgramming and planning for children 0-5 - the capability to engage children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups / stages of development - knowledge of health, hygiene and the nutrition needs of children - the ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff - a commitment to your own ongoing professional development in early childhood **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual **Salary**: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Employee discount - Employee mentoring program - Referral program Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift Supplementary Pay: - Commission - Performance bonus COVID-19 considerations: Rapid Tests are provided.
