Geriatrics Registrar

**The Role**:
This position is designed for trainees intending to pursue advanced training in Geriatric Medicine.
The Geriatric Medicine AT will work with supervision from geriatricians in the service.
The role of the AT can be flexible to match both the trainees learning needs and service requirements. We aim to provide a tailored experience to complement your existing training needs and transition to consultancy
**The Hospital**:
The acute campus comprises the Base Hospital (221 acute beds), Queen Elizabeth Centre (Continuing Care 70 beds) and Psychiatric Services (67 beds). New short stay unit and modern, emergency, critical care, ambulatory, aged care and rehabilitation facilities uniquely integrate in-patient, ambulatory, community and home based services. We are a major training site for the University of Melbourne and Deakin Rural Clinical Schools. Senior staff are strongly committed to teaching and the professional development of Interns, HMOs and Registrars.
**The Location**:

**The Requirements**:
- Registered with AHPRA (RACP) and have at least 12 months recent experience
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's with RACP interview date
- IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially or partially comparable.
