**About the Centre**: Kew and North Balwyn Playcentre is an occasional childcare centre operating from 9am - 2pm (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and 9am - 3pm (Tuesday and Thursday) during Victorian School Terms.

**Work Days of the Role**: Thursday

**Hours of Work of the Role**: 8.45am - 3.30pm

**Position Description**: A vacancy exists for a Diploma qualified educator in our Occasional Childcare Centre. - You must be a dynamic childcare educator, able to work in consultation with a busy team. - You will be creative, flexible, enthusiastic and have the ability to use your initiative as a member of a team of 6 staff. - You will need to currently hold your Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care -Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. - Relevant industry experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work flexible shifts during school hours - Must have work entitlement rights in Australia.

**Additional Requirements**: Working WIth Children Check. Current Police Check, First Aid and Anaphylaxis Certificates. COVID 19 Digital Certificate ( showing proof of at least 2 vaccinations only - ESSENTIAL). Room leadership experience preferred.

**Industrial Agreement/Award**: Children’s Services Award 2010

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: $36.46 - $37.56 per hour
