We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Personal Care Worker to join our growing team.

**About the Role**

The Personal Care Worker is responsible for providing person-centred care and assistance to elderly clients in line with their individual care plans. The position supports clients’ daily living activities, wellbeing, and independence while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, and mobility support.
- Supporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironing, nutrition needs as per care plans.
- Providing emotional and social support to promote engagement and wellbeing.
- Assisting with shopping and medical appointments.
- Supporting clients to participate in community or recreational activities of their choice.
- Ensuring clients’ living environments are clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Observing and reporting changes in clients’ health or behaviour to Registered Nurse.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to privacy and safety standards.
- Travelling between client homes within your local service area.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of work experience in community or residential aged care.
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
- National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with elderly clients and families.
