Dandenong, Australia Downer Group Full time

Downer have secured a 10-year contract with leading water retailer South East Water. This will be 24/7 reactive maintenance on their water and wastewater assets. The contract will also include minor capital works.

**THE ROLE**:
Due to winning this exciting new project within our Water Services business, we are looking to expand our close-knit and highly supportive team. Opportunities exist for Water Technicians & Super Truck Operators to join our project teams based across the South-East region.
- The core function of these roles will include:_
- Provide general labour and plant operating skills in the repair of water assets and other associated network maintenance activities.
- Rectification of wastewater or water faults within a timely manner.
- Monitoring and resolving any customer and general public issues while on site and implementing appropriate action.
- Demonstrating commitment to wellbeing, health and safety, environment and quality management principles.
- Complete the jobs through mobile field computing and reporting.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Please note the below tickets/licences are preferred but not required; _
- Prior experience in civil excavation works in the water or wastewater reticulation systems.
- Willingness to participate in an afterhours roster which currently includes day shift, afternoon shift & on call roster.
- White Card.
- Drivers Licence and/or MR Truck Licence.
- Excavator & Backhoe Licence.
- Working at Heights.
- Confined Spaces Ticket.
- Competent using computer-based software.
- You will be client focused, well organised and a strong communicator.
