**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic scientist to join our laboratory on a permanent part-time basis in our Sonic Food and Water Testing Laboratory. The laboratory, located in Penrith, is NATA-accredited for Microbiological and Environmental testing, and operates 7 days a week.

22.5 part-time hours per week will be rostered (shifts may vary dependent on workload), from Thursday to Saturday.

To be considered for this position, the applicant must hold a Certificate/Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Microbiology or a related science).
- You should also:

- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Display the ability to work in a team environment without direct supervision
- Show an understanding of quality control techniques
- Be proficient, motivated and highly organised, with great attention to detail
- Be able to live and work in Australia on a permanent basis
