Seeking an experienced Radio / Communications Technician to join a State Government department in Belmont

**Your new company**

A major State Government department is seeking an experienced Radio / Communications Technician to join a branch in Belmont. This role is being offered on an initial temporary engagement, and will require you to work full-time hours and on a competitive hourly rate.

**Your new role**

As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for:

- Installation, testing and staging of electronic, data and communications equipment and systems
- Undertake configuration of electronic equipment
- Assist with basic construction of specialist equipment
- Provide technical advice and support to the operations division
- Prepare technical facilities documentation
- Support the delivery of communications equipment to other business areas, including assisting with basic installation and testing on site

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered you will have:

- Previous experience in a similar position
- A relevant qualification or apprenticeship within a relevant discipline
- Possession of a WA driver's licence
- The ability to provide or complete a National Police Clearance
