**The Role**

We are looking for a highly skilled Car Audio Installer who is required to work independently across Metropolitan Melbourne. This full-time position is responsible for the installation of aftermarket audio products for all types of vehicles. This position required an advanced understanding of car electrical systems and aftermarket products available.

The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

- Install car audio equipment into customer vehicles as per the job details and quote agreed.
- Integrate Apple CarPlay/Android Auto into factory systems.
- Install and upgrade head units.
- Install dash cameras and reverse cameras, plus sound system upgrades and installation.
- Provide invoices to customers (payments are received in cash, via bank transfer or credit card and they are all processed through the ServiceM8 system).
- Be responsible for all equipment and stock provided, the maintenance of tools and work vehicles.
- Answer customer queries on-site as required.
- Effectively navigate the online booking system for a smooth transition from job to job
- Work independently across Metropolitan Melbourne.
- Collaborate with suppliers and tech support for job-related questions.
- Comply with all quality and safety policies, processes, and requirements.
- Stay up to date with work health and safety policies.

**What you must have to succeed**
- An advanced understanding of car electrical systems and products to ensure smooth and successful installation of aftermarket products.
- Manage yourself to ensure successful completion of jobs within allocated time periods.
- The ability to use the online booking system to allow customers to track arrival times.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a workshop environment dealing with vehicle computer systems.
- Must be +18 years old and have a valid Police check.
- Good communication skills and ability to confidently talk to customers.
- Be well organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Have the ability to thrive when working under pressure.
- Professional with excellent customer service skills
- Pro-active team player with strong attention to detail.
- A proven ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
