**Location**: Perth

What this job involves

The Retail Manager is a 12-month parental cover role. The person will manage the day-to-day client activities for the assigned properties and be the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and client.

The role will include active development and execution of the Centre's Business Plan objectives, which are underpinned by Retail Lease compliance, including all lease associated payments, debt management, retail store liaison, client reporting and stakeholder management. All whilst providing superior service to all stakeholders.

**Centre Operating Environments**:
Ensure your staff and contractors are working in proper efficient working environments, including but not limited to the adherence to Occupational Health and Safety requirements, proper IT systems, and efficient equipment.

**Management Agreement**:
Implementation of all responsibilities as specified in the Management Agreement.

**Lease Administration**:
Prepare and administer all relevant documentation as required, in accordance with ISPT Leasing Policy.

**Income**:
Ensure that all rentals, outgoings, turnover rental, promotion levy’s, tenant electricity and any other tenant recoverables are charged and collected by the due date as specified in the lease.

**Client Reporting**:
Assist in the preparation and implementation of the centres Business Plan, Income and Expenditure Budget and any client additional reporting required in accordance with the timeline established by the Account Director.

**Operations**:
Maintain the highest standards of repair and cleanliness to the centre. Ensure (with the Portfolio Team) that the client is fully aware of their risk profile if they do not agree to meet this requirement.

**Legal Compliance**:
Ensure that you have a proper understanding of the legal responsibilities of your position, and that your centres are all meeting their proper obligations in this regard.

5+ years retail property management (shopping centre, hotel/hospitality, commercial or other)
Multi site management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Stakeholder management and engagement experience.
Experience in managing a range of incidents and coordination of response.
High resilience and ability to maintain professional control.
