Hays Technology is currently partnered with a leading federal government organisation to recruit an EL1 Scrum Master Lead for an initial 12-month contract with a view of further extension.
**Your new role**
Reports of EL2 Product Owner in the Service Design and Improvement Branch, In this role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve internal service delivery processes and systems to provide better experiences for participants.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing project scope and timeline.
- Working in line with the Agile project approach.
- Coordinating sprints and retrospective meetings which review the previous project and daily scrum stand-ups.
- Coaching team members in agile frameworks and scrum practices.
- Working with product owners to develop and handle product backlogs and new requests.
- Guiding development teams to higher scrum maturity.
- Helping to build a productive environment where team members have accountability for the product.
- Managing the governance of the project against Agency frameworks and escalating concerns, as necessary.
- Maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as and when required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven previous experience as Scrum Master in highly complex project.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile Environment
- Stakeholder management experience,
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude
- Preferable prior knowledge and experience in disability and/or public sector.
- ** Due to the nature of our client, for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen.**
