We are an Australian company with a national presence recognised for building modern energy solutions in the pursuit of energy efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.

Our diverse workforce delivers modern hot water, steam and furnace solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.

We provide solution and energy efficiency consulting, system design and Project Management covering EPC, and maintenance across all elements of steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations that have their boiler solutions.

**Requirements**:
Service and Maintenance is an important part of the O’Brien business and as the General Manager you will be tasked with ensuring that we continue to grow and improve our capability Nationally. This is an important position in our business and your duties are broad. Some of your remit will include:

- Working with key customers and supporting our sales department.
- Continuous improvement across our service and maintenance functions.
- Leadership, team development and growth.
- Service quality, assurance, client satisfaction and engagement.
- Scheduling, Workforce Management & Resource Planning.

You will be responsible for contingency planning for emergencies, and continuously improving our rapid response capability.

This is a Senior position in the business and will require you to engage with the Directors and the Board. and

**About you**

We want someone who genuinely wants to make a difference and is passionate about Service, Management and Leadership. You will need to know that anything is possible and have a confident and positive outlook. Importantly you will need to enjoy and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment. A passion for industrial engineering and energy efficiency will serve you well.

This position will suit someone with at least 10 years’ of service management and operations, coordination and planning experience. A qualified trade or engineering background will be ideal. You will require interpersonal and communication skills commensurate with the level of this position.

Intra and interstate travel, with some overnight stays is a part of this job. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work in Australia is essential. This position can be based in our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney office, all with onsite parking, and modern facilities.
