**Who We Are**

We Care Providers is an NDIS Disability Service Provider based in the Western Suburbs (Truganina) and the North West (Essendon). We offer a wide range of supports and services to people with disabilities across Melbourne.

We are looking for a number of highly skilled Disability Support Workers to cover various shifts available. The position has availability for shifts Monday - Sunday.
Day, afternoon, night shifts & sleepovers required.

**What you'll be doing**
- Provide personalised care and support to participants based on their individual NDIS plans
- Assist with personal care, medication, and daily living activities as required
- Implement behaviour management strategies and support positive outcomes
- Facilitate community participation, skill development, and social engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report progress or concerns to relevant staff.
- Use strategies to calm participants during distress or behavioural episodes.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

**Who you'll be working with**

Reporting to the NDIS Operations Manager you will be part of a wider team of approx. 30 service delivery professionals; however, you won't work directly with them. Our team is full of dynamic and motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of those affected in their communities.

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Australian resident
- Workers Screening Check, First Aid + CPR
- Have a vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Infection Prevention and Control Training (This can be done on induction)
- Strong understanding of NDIS framework
- Experience with challenging behaviours
- Medication Management
- Behaviour Management
