**Position Vacancy**:
Job title: console operator (day, afternoon and closing position)

casual position

shift times: 10am-2pm, 12pm-5pm, 3pm-9pm

average of 3-5 shifts per week, includes weekend work

Weekday Rate: $33.99, Weekend Rate $44.34 (Age 20+)

The role involves solo work from 5pm

**Position Overview**:
**As a Console Operator** at The Station Grocer, you will be at the forefront of our customer service experience. You will be responsible for operating the console, assisting customers with fuel purchases, processing transactions, and ensuring a smooth operation. This position includes the closing shift, giving you a chance to shine until the end of the day.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Operate the console system efficiently to process fuel transactions accurately.

Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing assistance and guidance as needed.

Monitor fuel pumps and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the fuelling area.

Prepare and serve hot beverages and food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.

Assist with restocking shelves, inventory management, and general store maintenance tasks.

Utilise basic maths skills to complete the closing procedures.

Collaborate with team members to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

Basic math skills.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.

A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented culture.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.99 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
