**Job Title: Console Operator (Afternoon & Closing Shifts)**

**The Role**

We’re currently seeking a **Console Operator** to join our team in a **casual role** across **afternoon and closing shifts**. This role suits someone who’s confident working independently and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience.

**Shift times include**:

- 10:00am - 5:00pm
- 5:00pm - 9:00pm

You’ll typically work **2-4 shifts per week**, and you’ll be working **solo from 5pm onwards**.

**Pay rates (for Age 20+)**:

- **Weekdays**: $35.18/hour
- **Weekends**: $45.89/hour

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate the console and process fuel and in-store transactions accurately
- Deliver warm, friendly service to every customer
- Handle cash, card, and electronic payments with care and attention to detail
- Monitor fuel pumps and maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and forecourt
- Prepare and serve quality coffee and food items to standard
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and help keep the store clean and organised
- Complete end-of-day tasks including till reconciliation
- Follow all store policies, including safety and hygiene procedures

**About You**
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is highly regarded
- Confident communicator with a positive, professional attitude
- Comfortable working solo and staying productive during quieter periods
- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and completing shift close
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
