The opportunity
Are you passionate about improving services to deliver exceptional outcomes and benefits for the community? Do you love working on organisational transformation projects? Do you enjoy working with diverse groups of stakeholders to identify and define innovative solutions to complex problems? The City of Boroondara is looking for a Benefits Analyst to work within our dynamic Strategy and Performance Team as part of our Transformation Management Office. You will support our Transformation journey by working with diverse stakeholders to identify, track and manage the benefits delivered by the Transforming Boroondara program.
The Benefits Analyst will be instrumental in identifying outcomes and benefits delivered by the initiatives within the Transforming Boroondara program, to support the delivery of Boroondara’s strategic priorities and meeting our community vision. Leveraging your expertise in problem-solving, and utilising your strong interpersonal skills, you will be actively engaged in benefits realisation and be a key support in the delivery of the Transforming Boroondara Program. You will be the conduit for driving benefits analysis and establishing clear measures of success.
More about the role
**Key Responsibilities**:
Work with Transforming Boroondara project managers, program manager and business leads to develop and implement the benefits realisation plan for each project in the Program
Identify metrics and data collection approaches to report on benefits realised
Prepare high quality data informed benefits reporting for identified projects within the Program that are appropriate for governance and assurance forums
Provide expertise and advice in benefits forecasting
Stakeholder engagement across operational teams and executive, including design and facilitation of benefits realisation workshops
Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and benefits management
Conducting assurance reviews when required, or participation in audit and regulatory reviews as required
About You
You know how to use data driven insights to make recommendations for business process improvement. You can work independently and are comfortable using your influencing skills to support stakeholders on their journey of innovation and creativity.
