My client is a technology business with a focus on the medical industry amongst other sectors. The organisation is headquartered in Asia with Sydney being the regional hub for ANZ. Based in Frenchs Forest, the Australian HQ has only 20 employees, plus a a further 15 dotted in other states. The business is certainly a very commercial enterprise but it has paternal outlook and values its people within a supportive culture.

This newly 'upgraded role' reports to a very progressive CFO and is a stand-alone from a HR perspective but can be considered part of the finance team and all of the Australian organisation. Along with the CFO the role will have daily contact with the MD who is also based in the Sydney office.

The broad responsibilities are detailed below. This a is a 90% HR role but there are some responsibilities that fall outside of core HR - but they are infrequent and not time consuming. Also full support and training will be given in areas such as JSOX and Payroll.
- Employee Relations
- Culture and Engagement
- Training - including inductions and skills assessments
- Performance Reviews
- Recruitment
- Employee Reward
- Monthly Payroll
- OHS
- Updating HR policies
- Quality Audits and Reporting (JSOX)

The role is suits a HR generalist, ideally matching the profile below
- Someone who has worked in an SME environment
- A HR person will a process orientation
- Some Payroll experience (not essential)
- Someone with an interest in culture, engagement, reward and recognition
- 3 years + HR experience

The role is full-time, 5 days per week, based in Frenchs Forest. WHF / Flexible arrangements are available.
