About the Role
The purpose of this position is to focus on integrated care through partnerships, system coordination and collaboration with the aim of improving health outcomes for consumers.
- The position will enable MSAMHS to maximise its benefit from the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) investment in mental health. In particular, the alignment of Australian Government Initiatives with the new and existing investments in mental health announced by the Queensland Government.
- The position establishes purposeful, supportive and collaborative partnerships with local and service wide government, community managed organisations (CMO) and private sector providers and mental health services.
- Manages and supports various local and service wide portfolios.
- To work in collaboration with other staff of the MSAMHS to improve the consumer journey across the Metro South Health Service District.
- Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives for the promotion of a coordinated cross sector service response.
