We are working with a Surgical Specialist Group to recruit an Administration Officer and Team Leader for their practices in Toorak and Kew. The organisation has multiple consulting locations, and you may from time to time be required to work at another location so it is essential to hold a Victorian drivers licence. The group provides high level specialised care with surgical and non-surgical interventions, integrating care with allied health and other health professionals.

We are looking for a highly organised person with excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service, who is able to build and foster relationships with patients. The whole team strives to achieve excellence in customer service. You will enjoy a varied role with many administrative tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment. Your areas of responsibility include reception, attending to patient queries, scheduling appointments, referrals.

The Specialist Group is dedicated to delivering a high level of customer service with compassion and care. Facilitating and advocating for patients on their path to well-being, encompassing mental, physical and social elements of care.

**Administration Officer/Team Leader Profile**:

- **Must have** previous experience in a specialist doctor environment.
- Leadership experience
- Scheduling/diary management experience
- Advanced medical software experience
- Enjoys being part of a Team
- Genie software experience highly regarded or on the job training provided
- Clear and concise communication-written and verbal
- Professional and friendly phone manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, busy practice
- Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn extra skills
- Medicare bulk billing/batching
- Private health fund direct billing
- Follow up of outstanding accounts
- Understanding of DVA, TAC and WorkCover direct billing
- Liaising with health professionals, organisations and insurers
