**About the Centre**
Owned by the City of Boroondara and managed by the Y, APARC is a large aquatic centre with a wide range a facilities ranging from a 2 court stadium, health club, cafe, outdoor 25m and multiple indoor pools. We offer lap swimming, group fitness classes, swimming lessons and casual gym sessions. We have a young team and offer a great community atmosphere whilst in centre.
**About the role**
As a Duty Manager at APARC, you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
- Maintaining a focus on ‘Big Picture’ issues Centre wide
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre’s Emergency Action Plan
- Working autonomously as well as being an active leader
This is a casual position and the hourly rate is $36.35 + super.
**About you**
**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
**Other Desired Qualifications or Knowledge**
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is desirable
