**About the Team**

The **Travel Manager **is part of our greater Operations Planning and Control team. This team is made up of our Business Support, Production and Facilities teams and service our Brisbane based offices.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a detailed orientated Travel Manager to administer, review and oversee the complex and ever changing domestic and international travel requirements for the Australian division of Rheinmetall.

The Travel Manager will be the conduit between the corporate travel management provider, airline/accommodation/hire car suppliers, RDA business policies, RDA travellers and finance divisions.

The Travel Manager will work closely with the procurement team to ensure we have negotiated local and international corporate agreements with hotel and car hire partners. Be responsible for all travel related communications across Australia.
- The general and generic duties of the Travel Manager include, but are not limited to:

- Manage and maintaining positive relationships with the RDA corporate travel partner, vendors of direct travel (airlines, hotels and car rentals) and RDA travellers;
- Develop strategic policies and processes for travel;
- Handle and oversee all travel arrangements (airline, accommodation, car hire, VISAs);
- Negotiating preferred rates with vendors through the RDA procurement process;
- Assisting with travel-related issues that may arise;
- Prepare travel reports and budgets;
- Analyzing and preparing reports on travel spend; and
- Create, present and deliver proposals that create improved business outcomes and traveller experiences.

- Proven experience as corporate travel manager;
- Knowledge of international travel regulations;
- Knowledge of travel reporting and processing;
- Working knowledge of MS Office and CTM systems;
