This Warehouse Operative position will be the main warehouse role in this SME family business with respect to picking, packing, counting, receiving, shipping and restocking of inventory.

**The Day to Day Responsibilities**
- You will work on own initiative and as part of a team, and will report to the General Manager
- You pick, pack and ship orders in a timely manner as assigned by management or the customer service lead. Orders can be small parcels to full pallets
- You move stock around by hand, trolley and/or forklift as needed
- You receive in shipments (parcel, LCL & FCL), unload, check for damaged/missing goods, store goods, and keep records of incoming/outgoing shipments
- You meet or exceed performance guides i.e. units picked per hour
- You support and perform audits during inventory counts
- You will be responsible for basic operation of computer systems and stock counters
- You will keep the warehouse neat and organized at all times, and adhere to warehouse floor safety measures, and are encouraged to make suggestions and implement changes for the better
- You are adaptable to a busy, noisy and sometimes hot/cold environment
- You occasionally lift product or boxes up to 20kgs
- You complete other duties as assigned by Management
- You encourage a safe working environment
- You are capable of adapting to third party technologies (RF Guns)

**Skills**:

- You have a strong sense of personal responsibility and to the team with whom you work
- You have the ability to communicate clearly and objectively, aiding to the success of the team and yourself
- You have strong organizational, prioritising, problem solving and counting skills
- You are detail oriented and can pick/pack by matching codes and descriptions from pick slips to product

**Salary**: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
