**The Team**

We have a full inhouse café set up, with state of the art café equipment. Our café is run as a profit-for-purpose café with all profits going to a nominated charity.

The baristas are the main point of contact for the café and ensure the smooth running of day to day operations. You will be an all-rounder working alongside the client floor team including café assistants and the kitchen team.

This is a part-time, permanent role. You will be required to work Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 3:00pm.

**Your Role**

Reporting to the Client Floor Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

- open and close the café as required by Head Barista
- assist the Head Barista in all aspects of the daily running of the cafe
- assist the Head Barista in ordering and stock management
- take and prepare orders using the point of sale system
- ensure all food is served in a hygienic and presentable manner
- ensure all areas of operations are kept neat and tidy at all times
- experience in a high volume outlet
- adhere to all firm policies and procedures such as confidentiality and WH&S.

We welcome applicants who have 1- 3 years' experience working as a barista in fast paced café.

In addition, it is highly desirable for you to possess the following:

- barista certification (essential)
- intermediate skills in Microsoft office suite e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- food safety supervisor certificate
- Warden & First Aid Certificate is desirable but not essential
