A **leading national firm **is seeking a **Litigation Associate** to join its well-regarded Government Advisory team in **Melbourne**. This is an exciting opportunity to work with renowned Partners Mark Henry and Angela Barac, focusing on providing merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency within a collaborative and supportive environment.
**The Role**:
As a Litigation Associate, you will manage your own matters and contribute to complex and high-profile cases. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include drafting summaries of evidence and statements of issues, assisting with and attending case conferences and hearings, conducting directions hearings, drafting litigation strategies, and interpreting complex statutes.
**Requirements**:
- ** 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)**,** **ideally with government advisory work and a strong interest in administrative law and statutory interpretation
- Background in government work or similar experience in a law firm
- Strong drafting and communication skills
- Collegiate approach and a desire to work collaboratively in a team
