This role will oversee manufacturing operations, including the delivery and optimal functioning of our new Commercial Innovation Hub (CIH) R&D facility in Jerrabomberra, as well as the efficient operation of our existing batch R&D facility in Mitchell, and other general operations projects.

**The Role...**

In collaboration with our Chief Commercial and Operations Officer (CCOO) and broader senior leadership team this role will be critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Ideally situated in Canberra - we are open to relocation for this role if you believe you are a great fit - alternatively we may be able to discuss remote work options.

**Responsibilities...**
- Operational leadership of existing operations at Mitchell including production, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise operational processes and workflows to maximise efficiency, productivity and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements ands support a culture of continual improvement.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of the CIH project, ensuring it is ready to operate on day one. Oversee all aspects of the facility's construction, commissioning, and operational readiness, including equipment procurement, installation and validation and resource scheduling and workflow management.
- Provide strategic leadership to the CIH internal and external project leads and contractors to ensure project milestones are met within the specified timeline and budget and ensure a seamless transition and integration of operations from construction phase to full-scale production.
- Lead and support ad hoc general projects aimed at improving overall business performance and efficiency and to implement strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
- Monitor operational and project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

**Qualifications...**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in manufacturing operations, with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management role.
- Extensive experience in project management, particularly in facility construction, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
