**The Role**

As a Residential Lighting Designer, you will be primarily based at our commercial offices in Melrose Park, with occasional travel to our partner builder's offices and Beacon Design Studio stores. Your role will involve connecting directly with builder's clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert lighting and electrical solutions to enhance their homes. Additionally, the role will allow you to be the liaison with builder’s selections teams, estimating teams and electrical contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret architectural and electrical plans effectively.
- Develop lighting design plans that align with customer needs and design concepts.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Recommend suitable lighting products and placements to deliver professional, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
- Utilize technical expertise to ensure successful and efficient installations.
- Introduce the consultation service to the builders’ clients.
- Organise & Schedule consultations at reasonable intervals allowing time for planning & completing designs.
- Provide a prompt efficient and personalised service to builder’s clients.
- Provide expert advice ensuring the client’s needs are met and exceeded.
- Review plans, ensuring all information is accurate & fit the client’s need, prior to signoff.
- Update any alterations or amendments required in a timely manner.
- Proven to be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Provide support to sales associates within the Commercial office.
