Finity are currently looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to join our Melbourne team on a permanent basis.

Alongside our consulting work, we also develop a range of software products, offering our clients leading technology to navigate business challenges.
- Employment opportunity:
- while the primary focus of the role is delivering projects for banking clients, the role provides and opportunity to work across the full spectrum of services for banking and finance - including pricing and customer & product insights, automation, risk & capital allocation, financial management, compliance & regulation, data science and analytics.
- Our project-based structure allows us to tailor a role to your experience and interests.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a quant analyst in an area such as capital modelling, credit risk modelling, stress testing either at a bank or consultancy/professional services firm
- Quantitative qualification e.g. actuarial studies, statistics, maths or quantitative finance
- Understanding of financial products and key drivers of risk and return
- Familiarity with APRA risk management, capital and liquidity requirements for ADIs
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in one or more statistical and database software e.g. R/Python/SAS/SQL (desirable)
- Strong skills in financial model development and strong technical foundations across analytics techniques
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Problem solving mindset
- Project management experience/skills desirable
- A team player who is keen to collaborate with clients and teams.
