The Health Information Services department have an exciting opportunity for casual and part time Health Information Services Scanning Clerk to join our Geelong campus. Shifts will vary, including day shift (between 8am and 4:30pm) and evening shifts (3.30pm - 8.30pm) Mon - Friday. Occasional Saturday/Sunday shifts may also be required.

**You will make an impact by**:

- Responding to record requests
- Answering telephone enquiries
- Responding to information requests in accordance with the department’s release of information guidelines
- Collecting, scanning and re-directing mail
- Performing general department duties as required
- Scanning paper-based patient medical records using the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible in a changing work environment
- Can work both independently and in a team environment
- Good attention to detail
- Previous medical record experience (desirable)
- Experience with iPM and the BOSSnet Digital Medical Record system (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of Medical Terminology (desirable)
