Location: Archerfield / Redbank Plains The Queenslander Aviaries Team is seeking a retail team member to join them in delivering _Great Service, Always_ to our customers. **To be successful you must**: - Must have a valid drivers licence and access to a vehicle - Have 2-3 years retail experience, preferably in the pet industry - Be able to lift items up to 24kg - Be highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding customer service and communication skills - Enjoy working in a team environment - Reliable and mature applicants encouraged to apply. - **You will be working around seeds, nuts, flowers and the occasional feathered friend of our customers.**_ **What we require**: - Exceptional attention to detail in all duties - Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written - Able to work with mínimal supervision and at a fast pace - Efficient cash handling and POS experience is highly desirable - An interest in Visual Merchandising - desirable - Experience in customer service including managing complaints - Ability to make quick decisions to ensure customer satisfaction - Be motivated and have enthusiasm to learn with a "can do" attitude - Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends and public holidays and locations (Archerfield and Redbank Plains) **What we offer**: - Staff discounts - An environment where good performance is recognised and rewarded - A flexible and positive work environment **Job Type**: Part-time Part-time hours: 20 per week **Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Employee discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application Question(s): - How much notice are you required ti give your current employer? **Experience**: - picking and packing: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Driver Licence and Car (required) Work Location: In person
