Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with close to 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

Our Tunnelling team are currently delivering multiple shaft construction, medium diameter service tunnels, pedestrian tunnels and tunnel remediation projects across Australia and New Zealand. With specialist experience in trenchless technology and world-leading blind boring capabilities and a highly experienced tunnelling team we provide a strong technical solution to our clients.

**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced Tunnelling Manager to head up our Tunnelling team across Australia. You will be based in Melbourne or Sydney and will work collaboratively with our clients and project / joint venture teams across Abergeldie to oversee construction activities for all tunnelling projects. You will provide your technical expertise across a range of projects and manage project and team performance, drive project outcomes and ensure high-quality outcomes for our clients.

You will be responsible for all operations of the Tunnelling division with a strong focus on profitable growth, securing work and successful project delivery. You will also be responsible for leading a dynamic and talented team and managing and developing key client relationships (both internally and externally).

This role would suit either an experienced Leader looking for their next challenge or an experienced Project Manager that is looking to take a step up into a Senior Leadership role.
