**The Organisation**
Our client is a large manufacturing business based in the Lockyer Valley. They are a family run company with a strong history in Australia. There is an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join the established team.
**The Role**
Reporting to the HR Manager and working in a standalone capacity, this role will be integral for the set up and sophistication of their HR function. You will provide guidance on HR services across the site.
You will help to build suitable policies and procedures and help to educate and partner with managers on performance management and staff development programs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding and offboarding of all employees
- Partner with onsite managers on performance management, recruitment and grievances
- Develop and role out HR policies and procedures including employee induction program, ongoing training and development opportunities, flexibility policies etc.
- Provide up to date HR advice, coaching and support to senior leadership teams
- Monitoring the employee lifecycle.
- Reporting, analysis, and insights for management on excessive leave balances, FTE usage, excessive overtime, WGEA reporting, and changes in payroll legislation and awards
**About you**
- You will ideally hold a HR degree or equivalent level of experience in a HR Manager role.
- A background in Manufacturing/Agriculture/FMCG.
- Strong experience managing operational HR and influencing change.
- Experience in the development of policies and procedures will be highly regarded.
- Ability to effectively communicate and put your ideas forward to a senior leadership team.
- Willingness to work in a rapidly growing organisation with a willingness to be shown best practice HR.
- Strong communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
