UGL Regional Linx are looking for a passionate & enthusiastic Community and Place Officer to join our team.

**Job Purpose**
The position is responsible for assisting the Manager - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication and Advisor with communication with external (community) stakeholders, liaison with departments inside the company, case management and community engagement activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Supports the Manager - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication and Advisor with stakeholder engagement activities, including developing and conducting community consultation relating to major building works conducted by the company.
- The role involves acting as a contact point within UGL Regional Linx for external stakeholders including local businesses, councils and community groups. This will involve occasional travel to towns across NSW.
- Core duties include supporting and advising other departments of UGL Regional Linx re community and stakeholder elements associated with building and maintenance projects, recording and reporting the stakeholder caseload, drafting content for social media and ad-hoc duties.
- Knowledge and/or experience in data analysis using tools like Excel or Power BI would be highly regarded.
- Assist in the development of Internal Communications to engage, inform, guide and support businesses across a broad range of initiatives, issues and activities
- Maintain standards, guidelines, and protocols for all internal communication
**Qualifications**
- Experience in community relations.
- Experience and/or training in data analytic tools like Excel or Power BI would be well-regarded
- Experience in rail, Defence, aviation or any safety-critical environments is highly desirable.
