The Corporate Travel Consultant is responsible for assisting the Corporate Travel Manager in coordinating the firm’s national travel program and operations. This includes facilitating domestic point-to-point, long stays, group stays and international travel as required.

You will deliver exceptional client service in travel coordination and services to the firm through reliable and efficient booking systems and reporting tools.

Key responsibilities

Action and manage domestic and international travel itineraries.
Ensure the firm’s travel program delivers high quality, cost effective service.
Continual review, standardisation and improvement of services and processes.
Effective and proactive management of key supplier relationships to maximise program outcomes.
Ensure all information, profiles and travel bookers within the travel online booking tool are updated and maintained. Provide regular updates of information, travellers and travel bookers to the nominated travel management service supplier.
Coordination of group bookings (airline, accommodation and conference requirements) including the national partner retreat and graduate academy program.
Monitor the firm’s expenditure on travel and continually improve practices and procedures to deliver cost effective results.
Ensure compliance with the firm’s Finance policies including the Expenditure Authorisation Policy in the processing and approval of payments.

Required skills and experience

Minimum 2 years corporate travel service experience in a front-facing customer service environment.
Ability to provide positive first impressions beyond the expected.
Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, responsiveness and exceptional customer service skills.
Excellent planning & organisational skills and ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
Financial and commercial aptitude, including developing cost estimates with the ability to track and report.
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations as well as competing complex operational matters on a daily basis.
