**Your Team**
The CFS People & Culture team focuses on developing strategies to improve the employee experience in areas such as compensation, leadership, employee engagement, inclusion, employee relations, capability development, performance, and health & safety.
The P&C Consultant is part of the People & Culture Shared Services team, which provides operational support and services across the CFS business and the broader People & Culture team.
**Your Responsibilities**
We are looking for a dynamic People & Culture Consultant to join our HR Service team. In this role, you will respond to HR-related questions from employees and leaders across the business, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate organisational change records, supporting project management and associated processes, and supporting the team in various advisory and administrative tasks.
Joining the team on a **maximum term contract**, you will be responsible for:
- Handling various HR requests such as employee onboarding, maintaining position data and managing updates.
- Assisting leaders with HR processes, policies and best practices to ensure effective people management.
- Providing coaching and support on complex queries with escalation to HRBPs or Centres of Excellence areas as required.
- Ensuring all HR activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, procedures and policies.
- Providing guidance on Performance Improvement Plans, formal Performance Improvement and probationary employment termination.Providing change support, including managing the People Change mailbox, generating and distributing letters and associated change collateral and arranging engagement with external providers as required.
**Your Capability and Experience**
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor/HR Consultant role, preferably in a fast paced Financial Services or Professional Services environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
