We are currently looking for environmentally conscious Lead bush regenerator to represent this company at various South East Queensland Locations, our company is affiliated with non-profit organisations, government sectors, companies or private land owners that have the best intentions of the environment with realistic outcomes.
Our focus is protecting environmental and cultural heritage, improving habitat quality through best environmental practices and community education.

Extensive knowledge of SE Queensland habitats and weed species is imperative to this position. Applicant must be confident in their knowledge of restoration techniques with consideration of low environmental impact.

As a Successful Applicant you will implement bushland works relating to the maintenance of the Environment Restoration Plans, both assisted restoration and construction restoration in accordance with specific standards and timetables.
Lead Bush Field Specialists
The successful applicant will have;
- Passion for the environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years as a lead in a multitude of habitats.
- Minimum Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management (or equivalent experience)
- Must be able to travel and stay in remote locations on a regular basis.
- Proven practical experience in bushland/natural areas restoration or vegetation management.
- Ability to adapt techniques over the duration of projects in accordance to varying environmental conditions to ensure best environmental outcomes
- Proven ability to mentor, motivate and provide feedback to staff
- Plant ID, both native and exotic
- ACDC license
- Class C driver’s license
- White Card
- Experience in using Bush Regenerating tools such as Augers, Brushcutters, Chainsaws along with the maintenance of these power tools
- Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role
- Ability to work as part of a team or lead a team
Desirable
- First Aid
- Chainsaw certification level 1 & 2
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Resource Management or equivalent.
- Remote Area work experience
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant but is above award.
**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
