We are currently recruiting for the **EHS Operations Manager** for Boeing Australia to be based at our Amberley site.
**The Opportunity**
Be responsible for managing and integrating employee and first-level manager activities across the Amberly site and other northern region sites. This will include the planning and implementation of environmental, occupational, health and safety programs/processes, continually taking responsibility for the safety of themselves and their teams and also driving to achieve HSE goals, targets and continual improvement whilst maintaining a key focus on our Customers / Clients. The role is also responsible for implementation of HSE strategy, ensuring compliance to HSE systems, regulatory, client and business requirements.
**In executing this role, you will**:
- Implement EHS policies, procedures and processes
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manage, develop and motivate employees to sustain a high level of performance
- Engage with teams and business partners to develop solutions with regards to cultivating an positive safety culture and focus on implementation of critical controls

**You will need to have**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or any technical field
- 10+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in diverse locations
- Extensive experience managing environment, industrial hygiene and occupational safety programs
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across organizational boundaries and build cross-functional partnerships
- Understanding of building organizational talent, general business acumen, and experience with project management
- Experience with ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001
- Experience with implementing lean manufacturing principles
